Printable QR Code Generator
Create a static QR code without an account and download it for your layout. The generator offers PNG, SVG, PDF and EPS with no QR watermark. For a link you can edit later, sign in and create a dynamic code before printing.
The name goes into the PDF exactly as typed; the on-screen color is an approximation and print output may differ.
Save your brand colors once, reuse them on every code. Stored in this browser.

Want to edit the destination later and track scans?
Create and download a printable QR code
- 01
Paste your URL or select another content type. For uploaded PDF and image destinations, sign in with a free account first.
- 02
Set the colors and margin. If you are exporting a PDF, enter the physical print size in the editor instead of relying on a page layout tool to scale it later.
- 03
Download PNG, SVG, PDF or EPS. Place the file at the intended size and scan a physical proof before making copies.
Where people use it
Office printing
Place the download into your document. Check the print dialog for scaling and measure the printed code before distributing the sheet.
Design files
Use a plain SVG QR code when the layout needs to scale. Keep the code and its light margin together as one object.
Commercial printing
Share the final dimensions and the printer's requested file type. Use the separate print pack when crop marks and bleed are required.
PNG resolution at the final size
A file's pixel dimensions and its placed size determine its effective resolution. Pixels = width in inches × pixels per inch. At 300 pixels per inch, a 2 inch wide image needs 600 pixels across. Enlarging an existing PNG does not restore missing detail. Export again at a suitable size or use a plain vector QR design.
PDF and SVG serve different layout needs
SVG can be placed in a design tool and scaled with the layout. PDF can carry a page with a chosen physical size. Neither extension guarantees that an uploaded logo or decorative frame is vector artwork. Inspect the downloaded result, especially when the code will be enlarged for a sign.
A printed code still needs a reachable destination
A static URL code stores the URL itself. It has no built in expiry, but it cannot make an expired domain or a deleted page work. Dynamic codes depend on their redirect service and account status. Check both the printed code and the page it opens when maintaining your printed materials.
