Voice Message QR Code for Cards and Gifts
A voice message QR code lets someone hear you when they scan a card. You record a few words with your phone, upload the recording, and print the code inside a birthday card, on a gift tag or on the back of a framed photo. The person points their camera at the code and your voice plays in the browser, nothing to install. Record, upload, print, and the code keeps working: no subscription, no inactivity rule, $4.99 paid once per code.
Free forever while it gets scanned. Make it permanent once for $4.99.
- No “Made with qrforprint” line on the page
- Your own title and message on the page
- Swap the file later, the printed code keeps working
- Scan count, files up to 20 MB, and the print pack
- Never goes inactive. One payment, no subscription
A free code stays active as long as it is scanned at least once every 12 months.
The name goes into the PDF exactly as typed; the on-screen color is an approximation and print output may differ.
Save your brand colors once, reuse them on every code. Stored in this browser.

Put your voice inside a card in three steps
- 01
Open the voice recorder app on your phone, record your message and save it. iPhone and Android save M4A files, and those upload as they are. MP3 works too.
- 02
Create a free account, choose the Audio tab and upload the recording. For $4.99 paid once, make the code permanent: the small qrforprint line disappears, you can write a title and a short message above the player, and the code never goes inactive.
- 03
Download the code and print it inside the card or on the tag. Keep it at least 2 cm wide, leave a clear margin around it, and scan the printed card with your own phone before you send it.
Where people use it
Birthday cards
For a grandmother's 80th birthday, each child and grandchild records a short message. Every message gets its own code, printed next to that person's name, and she hears each voice from one card.
Gift tags
A tag with a code says the words you did not want to write down. It works on a wrapped present, a bottle or a bouquet.
Framed photos and keepsakes
A small code on the back of a frame plays the story behind the picture, told by the person who was there.
What the person hears when they scan
Scanning opens a plain page with a player and your recording. On a permanent code, your title and your written message appear above the player. The page has no ads, sets no cookies and shows nothing from other people, so a birthday message stays a birthday message.
How long the recording stays online
A free code holds one file up to 5 MB, shows a small Made with qrforprint line under the player, and stays active as long as it is scanned at least once every 12 months. A permanent code, $4.99 paid once, has no inactivity rule and no recurring fee, holds a file up to 20 MB, and lets you replace the recording later without reprinting the card. Permanent means no renewal and no inactivity rule for as long as qrforprint operates; keep your own copy of the recording as well.
Several people, several messages
One code plays one recording. When five relatives each want to say something, make five codes, one per person, and print each code next to that person's name. If you would rather have everything behind one code, join the recordings into a single audio file first and upload that file.

Frequently asked questions
How long can the voice message be?+
The limit is by file size, not by minutes. A free code holds a file up to 5 MB, which is several minutes of speech from a phone recorder. A permanent code holds up to 20 MB.
Does the person need an app or an account to listen?+
No. The phone's camera reads the code, the page opens in the browser and the built in player plays the message. Only you, the person who uploads the recording, need a free account.
Can I record directly on qrforprint?+
No. You record with your phone's own voice recorder or any app you like, then upload the file. MP3 and M4A are accepted.
Can I change the message after the card is printed?+
On a permanent code, yes. You replace the recording from your account and the printed code stays the same, so the card does not need to be reprinted.
Who can listen to it?+
Anyone who scans the code or has the link. The page is not listed by search engines and we do not show it anywhere else on the site.
What does a voice message QR code cost?+
It is free to start, with the free limits above. $4.99 paid once makes the code permanent. There is no subscription and nothing to renew.
