qrforprint in Claude

Use qrforprint from a Claude conversation: preview QR codes, create dynamic link codes and change where they go. Styling, print files, and photo, PDF or voice note codes stay on qrforprint.com.

Add it to Claude

  1. In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, and add qrforprint. If it is not listed yet, choose Add custom connector and enter https://qrforprint.com/mcp.
  2. Ask Claude for a QR code, for example "Make a QR code for my menu at https://example.com/menu". Previews work without an account.
  3. When you ask for something that needs your account, Claude shows a Connect button. Sign in to qrforprint, or create a free account, and choose Allow.

In Claude Code, run claude mcp add --transport http qrforprint https://qrforprint.com/mcp.

What Claude can do with it

  1. Preview a QR code for a web address, plain text, email, phone call, text message, WiFi network or contact card. Claude shows a black and white preview and a link that opens the same content in the qrforprint editor, where you style it and download PNG, SVG, PDF or EPS files. No account is needed and nothing is saved.
  2. List your codes with their short links, destinations and scan counts. Needs sign in.
  3. Create a dynamic link code. The printed code holds a short qrforprint link, so you can change where it goes later without reprinting, and scans are counted. Needs sign in.
  4. Change where a code goes. Claude asks you to confirm before it changes anything. Printed copies open the new address from the next scan. Needs sign in.

What it cannot do

Claude cannot delete codes, upload photos, PDFs or voice notes, take payments, see payment details or change your password through this connector. Those stay on qrforprint.com.

Plans and limits

Static codes are free and unlimited. An account has 3 dynamic link codes. Photo, PDF and voice note codes, and making one of them permanent for $4.99 paid once, are handled on qrforprint.com.

Privacy

qrforprint receives only the requests Claude makes to its tools: the content for a preview, and the name and web address for a new or changed code. Preview content is used to draw the image and is not stored. Your conversation with Claude is not sent to qrforprint. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

Disconnect

Remove qrforprint in Claude's Settings, then Connectors. Access also ends if you delete your qrforprint account.
